Croatian President visited Alleys of Honors and Martyrs in Baku - UPDATED

Baku. 24 October. REPORT.AZ/ President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has today visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.

Report informs, she also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Then President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has today visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku.

A guard of honor was lined up for the Croatian President here.

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic paid tribute to Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.

She laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.

A military orchestra played the national anthems of Croatia and Azerbaijan.
