Co-rapporteurs of PACE Monitoring Committee to visit Azerbaijan

Baku. 27 July. REPORT.AZ/ Co-rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Committee on Azerbaijan Stefan Schennach and Cezar Florin Preda will visit Azerbaijan during a month.

Report informs, Stefan Schennach posted on his official Twitter page.

Notably, the co-rapporteurs last visited Azerbaijan on June 12-14. During the visit, they met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, chairman of the Parliament Ogtay Asadov, Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov, Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, Deputy Prosecutor General, Chairmen of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts, the State Security Service and the Office of the Ombudsman.

Stefan Schennach and Cezar Florin Preda also held meetings with representatives of the civil society, oppositional parties and lawyers.
