Brussels hosts meeting of foreign ministers of countries participating in NATO's "Resolute support"

Baku. 20 May. REPORT.AZ/ Brussels plays host to the North Atlantic Council with 'Resolute Support' Partner Nations.

Report informs, the event brought together the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member States of the operation, including the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

Speaking at the opening of the event, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told about the results of the operation.

According to him, security issues are still a challenge in Afghanistan. However, the Secretary General noted the progress made in this area over the past years, stressing the merits of the Afghan security forces.

He also said that the meeting will discuss the political, military and financial support to Afghanistan.
