Barkindo: We highly appreciate Azerbaijan's active leadership role in making historical OPEC decision

Baku. 23 January. REPORT.AZ/ ““We highly appreciate the active leadership role of Azerbaijan in bringing together the OPEC and non-OPEC countries and making the relevant historical decision in December 2016.”

Report informs, Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohammad Barkindo said in the meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

During the meeting, Ilham Aliyev invited Secretary General of OPEC to Azerbaijan. 

Mohammad Barkindo has accepted the invitation.
