Baku will help Kyiv to erect the largest national flag

Baku. 14 April. REPORT.AZ/ The Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Vitali Klitschko has met with Head of Baku city Executive Power Hajibala Abutalibov in Baku, Report informs citing official website of the Kyiv City State Administration.

"We have much to learn from Baku. Especially we are interested in the restoration practice of the old city, construction of modern infrastructure. I was also struck by the building illumination in the city, which is very well made. I have special interest in your National Flag Square. I have long wanted to establish such a large-scale flag in Kyiv. We have already launched works on this project. But we will need your practice and help", Vitali Klitschko stressed.

Chief architect of Baku also took part in the meeting. In particular, they agreed that he will visit Kyiv to inspect the buildings that Kyiv authorities are planning to illuminate, consult Ukrainian experts and determine what Kyiv needs in artistic illumination and consultation on establishing the main national flag.

"Also in the near future I will send the chief architect of Kyiv to Baku to see the illumination, the old city and ultramodern architecture here", said Vitali Klitschko.

He thanked Hajibala Abutalibov for cooperation, support and readiness to help Kyiv and Ukraine.

"There have always been honest relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, we appreciate it. We are ready to develop our cooperation and share our experience", Hajibala Abutalibov said.

Vitali Klitschko visited the National Flag Square in Baku and viewed the largest national flag of Azerbaijan established there. Also, the Kyiv mayor strolled along the old city, reviewed newly-built parks in the center of Baku.
