Baku to host III meeting of International Network for UNESCO Silk Roads Online Platform

Baku. 3 April. REPORT.AZ/ The third meeting of the International Network for the UNESCO Silk Road Online Platform will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 4 to 5 May 2017.

Report informs citing UNESCO media service, the event will be organized by the support provided by the Government of Azerbaijan.

Focal Points from 25 member states will be in attendance, representing their respective countries, along with academics and experts. They will exchange experiences and good practices in promoting and implementing activities related to the Silk Roads. The main objective of the meeting is to discuss the implementation of the 2016-2018 Action Plan of the International Network that was adopted during the second meeting of the Network in Valencia in June 2016.

This meeting will take place in conjunction with the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, which will be held in Baku, from May 5 to 6, 2017.
