Baku to host conference 'Russia and Azerbaijan: 25 years of cooperation and development'

Moscow. 20 February. REPORT.AZ/ About 30 experts from Russia, deputies of State Duma, members of the Federation Council and Public Chamber of Russia will arrive in Baku to attend the conference devoted to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Baku.

Report's correspondent in Moscow was told by member of the Russian Public Chamber, political scientist Sergey Markov.

According to him, the conference "Russia and Azerbaijan: 25 years of cooperation and development" will be held on February 24. The event will be supported by Parliament of Azerbaijan, organizers of the conference are the Civil Society Association in Azerbaijan jointly with the Institute of Political Studies of the Russian Federation. 

According to S. Markov, Baku will host an interesting discussions on various areas of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.

Issues of the Azerbaijani-Russian cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as the implementation of joint projects will be discussed at the conference.

The conference will be attended by such well-known Russian figures as Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on family, women and children, TV presenter Oksana Pushkina, Moscow-based geopolitical analyst and observer from “Kommersant” Publishing House Sergei Strokan, Rector of the International Slavic Academy Sergei Baburin, member of the Russian Public Chamber Georgy Fyodorov, Director of Russia's Institute of Actual Economics Nikita Isayev and a number of State Duma deputies.
