Azerbaijani President congratulates Xi Jinping on his re-election as President of China

Baku. 17 March. REPORT.AZ/ President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his counterpart Xi Jinping on his re-election as President of the People's Republic of China.

Report informs, the letter reads as follows:

"We attach great importance to the development of Azerbaijan-China relations. In this sense, the present high level of our bilateral relations is commendable.

After the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the relations between our countries have entered a qualitatively new stage. Our ever-growing political contacts are accompanied by our active and productive cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres. We are also partners in the implementation of promising infrastructure projects that are of great importance to our region.

I believe that we will continue our joint efforts to further strengthen friendly relations between our countries and peoples and deepen our cooperation in bilateral and international formats.”
