Azerbaijani President approved an agreement with the EU on readmission

Baku. July 1. REPORT.AZ/ President Ilham Aliyev approved the agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union on the readmission of persons residing illegally, signed on February 28, 2014 in Brussels.
Agreement on visa facilitation was signed in the framework of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius between Azerbaijan and the European Union November last year.
February 28, Azerbaijan signed an agreement with the European Union on readmission. On May 30, the Azerbaijani parliament ratified the agreement.
Agreement on simplification of visa regime between Azerbaijan and the EU will enter into force simultaneously with the readmission agreement.
