Azerbaijani MFA: Official institutions of France should stop provocative actions

The meeting with the 'representative' of the so-called separatist regime established in the formerly occupied territories of Azerbaijan was designed to promote the illegal regime and is considered an action against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizada, the head of the press service department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, said while commenting on the statement of the President of the Regional Council of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes of France, Report informs.

He said that the official institutions of France should put an end to such provocative and subversive activities:

"In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as internationally recognized rules and norms, any humanitarian activity in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan must be agreed and coordinated with the government of Azerbaijan."
