​Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to participate in PACE session

Baku. 5 September. REPORT.AZ/ Next session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be held in Strasbourg from September 29 to October 3. Report informs citing the agenda of the forthcoming session, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov will participate at the opening day at the session on behalf of the Committee of Ministers of the CoE. In May Azerbaijan chaired in the structure for the next six months.

Also during the session, parliamentarians from CoE member countries will discuss the results of the observation of the presidential elections in Turkey, the activities of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development over the past year, the activities of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, progress monitoring procedures of the Assembly, the functioning of democratic institutions in Georgia and a number of other issues.
