Azerbaijani Foreign Minister receives new Ambassador of Lithuania

Baku. 26 August. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov received a new ambassador of Lithuania to Azerbaijan.

Report informs referring to the press service of the MFA, the ambassador Valdas Lukauskas presented the copy of credentials to Elmar Mammadyarov.

Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated Valdas Lukauskas on his appointment and wished him success. He also noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania developed successfully in all areas.

The ambassador Valdas Lukauskas stated that he will contribute to the further development of cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the future perspectives of bilateral political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and scientific relations.
