Azerbaijani FM: We must triple efforts to resolve Karabakh conflict

Baku. 6 September. REPORT.AZ/ Conflict resolution within the territorial integrity of countries is one of the most important principles.

Report informs, Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov said at a briefing following the meeting with his Turkish and Georgian counterparts, answering reporters' questions.

"The settlement of conflicts within the internationally accepted borders and territorial integrity of countries is one of the most important principles", E. Mammadyarov said.

Touching upon the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Azerbaijani diplomat pointed to the necessity of double and triple efforts to resolve the conflict. "The role of international efforts is very important in this issue", he added.

In his turn, Turkish FM Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stressed that the conflict must be resolved peacefully within the framework of the territorial integrity of the countries.
