Azerbaijani FM: Armenia is not fulfilling obligations under various pretexts

"A statement by the Armenian Foreign Ministry about the alleged inconsistency of the thoughts, voiced by the Azerbaijani president during a meeting with residents of Guba District, on the signed trilateral statements, and the creation of a threat to Armenia’s territorial integrity, is an attempt to divert the attention of the international community from this issue," Report informs, citing the statement of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

“Azerbaijani has repeatedly and at the highest level emphasized the importance of fulfilling the joint statements, signed by the leaders of the three countries; our country has taken concrete steps in this direction. Armenia does not fulfill its obligations under various pretexts, hindering regional peace and security.

“We recommend that the Armenian Foreign Ministry, which illegally held Azerbaijani territories under the occupation for about 30 years and ignored the appeals of international community, instead of addressing the international community with false statements, to carefully read the statements, signed by the leaders of their country, and begin to fulfill the assumed obligations," the statement reads.
