Azerbaijani Embassy in Iraq operates in enhanced security mode

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Baghdad is operating in an enhanced security mode, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva told Report.

Earlier, several diplomatic missions in Baghdad tightened measures to ensure security on their territory in connection with developments in the region.

Japan has temporarily closed its embassy in Iraq.
