Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia delivers food aid to needy families

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia has initiated a campaign to provide food assistance to low-income families in the country.

Today, with the presence of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov, Chairman of Tbilisi Sakrebulo Giorgi Tkemaladze and other officials, the Embassy handed over 200 boxes of food products to Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Council), Report’s local bureau informs.

The Sakrebulo administration expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side and companies for the aid.

The aid campaign financed by Azerbaijani Business Association in Georgia (AZEBI) was launched on April 9 in Tbilisi. So far, families in Tbilisi and Rustavi cities, as well as Marneuli, Bolnisi, and Gardabani districts have been provided with assistance. The campaign will supply food to 1,000 families in the other regions of Georgia that are densely populated by Azerbaijanis.
