Azerbaijani and Turkish Foreign Ministers meet in Tajikistan

Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu as part of his visit to Tajikistan.
The ministers exchanged views about the current situation in the region and the work done by Azerbaijan as part of the post-conflict reconstruction and restoration process.
The parties also discussed issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation and noted with satisfaction that Protocol No. 1 on amendments to the agreement on mutual visa exemption between Azerbaijan and Turkey signed in Baku came into force on April 1, and Azerbaijani citizens can use their ID cards as border documents.
The sides also discussed other regional issues of mutual interest.
