Hotline (+33 6 05 90 35 87) operated by the Embassy's Consular Section will provide prompt assistance to the Azerbaijani citizens living in France and planning to return to the homeland to solve the problems arising out of the current situation.

On March 15, Azerbaijan's Embassy in France addressed to its citizens residing in this country.

The Embassy stated that the COVID-19 is spreading rapidly across the world, especially Europe, therefore the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak a pandemic. "We urge our compatriots to closely follow the awareness messages and recommendations provided by the WHO, the Azerbaijani and French authorities to effectively protect against the COVID-19 and minimize the risk of infection".

From now on, all trips within non-European countries and the EU and the Schengen zone will be suspended for 30 days.

Meanwhile, confirmed cases of coronavirus reached 6,633 in France, claiming 148 lives.
