Azerbaijan puts forward its candidacy for chairmanship of Asian Parliamentary Assembly

Azerbaijan has put forward its candidacy for the chairmanship of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) in 2024-2026, Secretary General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, Mohammad Reza Majidi, said at the meeting of the APA Standing Committees on Social and Cultural Affairs held in the Milli Majlis (Parliament), Report informs.

The Secretary General said that he supports Azerbaijan's candidacy for the chairmanship of the organization: "I call on the member states of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly to support Azerbaijan's chairmanship."
