Azerbaijan opens embassy in Vatican

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a law 'On the establishment of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Holy See.'
Report informs that the law provides for the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in the Holy See (Vatican).
Moreover, on November 22, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on ensuring the operation of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Holy See.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers shall resolve the issues of logistics support, financing and other issues to ensure the operation of the embassy in the Holy See.
The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan is tasked to develop the embassy's structure and its staff schedule.
