The Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia has provided food aid to 100 low-income families living in the Dmanisi region, predominantly inhabited by Azerbaijanis.
Local Bureau of Report informs, the Embassy presented the food packages to Giorgi Tatuashvili, Mayor of Dmanisi region, with the participation of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov.
The head of the region and Governor of Kvemo-Kartli Shota Rekhviashvili thanked the Azerbaijani side for the social action.
Earlier, at the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy and with the financial support of the Associations of Azerbaijani Businessmen, 1,300 socially disadvantaged families living in several regions of Georgia were afforded with food aid.
