Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Kazakh counterpart Mukhtar Tleuberdi as part of the ninth Ministerial Conference 'Heart of Asia-Istanbul process' held yesterday, March 29, in Dushanbe.
Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry, that during the meeting, Jeyhun Bayramov stressed the high level of bilateral ties between the two countries, noting great opportunities to expand this cooperation. The sides stressed the importance of holding the session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission for the further development of ties between the two countries.
Tleuberdi said that the relations between the two countries' presidents are at a high level, which plays a vital role in developing bilateral ties.
During the meeting, Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart about the new situation in the region after the 44-day war and the work done by Azerbaijan on the implementation of tripartite statements.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
