Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan amend document on visa-free travel

The Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan on mutual visa-free travel of citizens, signed on October 2, 2009, has been amended in the form of a Protocol.
Thus, the following changes were made to the powers of the State Migration Service under the Protocol:
- If a citizen of one Party resides in the territory of the other Party for more than 30 days, heshe must be registered (registration at the place of residence) in the competent authorities of that State under the national legislation of the State of the other Party.
So, citizens of Kazakhstan wishing to stay temporarily in Azerbaijan for more than 30 days must register at their place of residence during this period.
