"Today the exhibition World Food Moscow become the face of Moscow and the Moscow region. I am very pleased that for the third year in a row Azerbaijan is an official partner of the exhibition and presents its achievements and products at a single national stand," Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bülbüloğlu said.

Report's Russian bureau informs that, according to him, this year Azerbaijan is represented by 34 leading companies in the field of food production.

The Ambassador thanked everyone for the excellent organization of the exhibition and noted that it undoubtedly requires a lot of time and effort: "Today this exhibition has become one of the main venues where world food producers from different countries and continents can meet, present their products and expand cooperation."

Polad Bülbüloğlu, whoalso spoke about Azerbaijani companies and products presented at World Food Moscow noted that Azerbaijan is a traditional trading partner of Russia: "The Republic of Azerbaijan is one of the stable, reliable and historically traditional trading partners of the Russian Federation. Our economic ties, as well as other areas, are developing very dynamically. In 2018, our trade turnover grew by more than 19%, and in the seven months of this year by more than 23%. The basis of Azerbaijani exports is traditionally food products, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, pomegranates, persimmons, nuts, jam, etc. Winemaking is successfully developing in the recent years. This allows us to express the hope that Azerbaijani wines will regain their former popularity in the Russian market."

"Our products are familiar to many, are much-in-demand and most importantly, they are environmentally friendly, tasty, useful, as all guests visiting our national stand today can see it. I am sure that our products will not leave anyone indifferent, " the Ambassador concluded.
