Azerbaijan, Ethiopia tend to cooperate in tourism sector

Baku. 27 July. REPORT.AZ/ Ambassador of Azerbaijan in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Elman Abdullayev met with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Ethiopia, Amin Abdulkadir.

Report was told in Azerbaijani Embassy in Ethiopia.

The Ambassador E.Abdullayev informed the official representative of Ethiopia on achievements of Azerbaijan in the field of tourism and the country's transformation into a leading tourist destination in the region.The Ambassador noted that, for the development of tourism and tourist attraction in the country created the most modern tourist infrastructure, the world's most famous hotel chains opened.

The diplomat underlined that Azerbaijan has the most ancient monuments of material and cultural heritage, and religion in the region.He also noted that the holding of the country's most prestigious international events, in particular, the European Games, is an indicator of turning the country into an important international center.

During the meeting, Minister Amin Abdulkadir said that Azerbaijan has achieved great success under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the country is developing rapidly and in a short time became known in the world.

The Ethiopian minister stressed his country's interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan and pointed to the great potential for cooperation in the sphere of culture and tourism.
