Azerbaijan evacuates 26 citizens from Sudan

Azerbaijan has evacuated 26 citizens from Sudan with Türkiye's assistance.
Report informs via Anadolu that, according to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Türkiye has so far evacuated 2,061 people from Sudan. Of these, 1,763 are citizens of Türkiye, 298 are from 22 different countries, including 26 citizens of Azerbaijan.
Clashes broke out between the Rapid Reaction Forces (RRF) and the army units of Sudan on April 15. Nearly 500 people died as a result.
