Azerbaijan, EU to hold next round of negotiations on new agreement in January

Baku. 7 December. REPORT.AZ/ The next round of talks on a new agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union is planned to be held in Brussels in January, head of the EU delegation in Azerbaijan Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas told journalists.

Report informs that commenting on the round of talks due in Baku on December 4-6 on a new agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union, the ambassador said that "the negotiations were productive" and a video conference on sectorial issues was held.

The ambassador noted that the EU delegation that arrived in Baku was extensive, which also indicates the seriousness of EU’s intentions to conclude an agreement with Azerbaijan.
