Azerbaijan-EU Committee to convene in Baku for visa facilitation this week

The next meeting of the Azerbaijan-EU Joint Committee on visa facilitation will be held in Baku on November 6, Report informs citing an informed source.

Notably, Azerbaijan and the EU held a meeting of the Joint Readmission Committee in September.

On November 29, 2013, the European Union and Azerbaijan signed an agreement on visa facilitation within the framework of the EU Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius. On 28 February 2014, the EU and Azerbaijan signed a readmission agreement.
