Azerbaijan, Bahrain discuss cooperation

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion focused on bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international security issues.

The ministers exchanged congratulations on the upcoming Novruz and Ramadan holidays. They emphasized the development of Azerbaijan-Bahrain partnership in the economic, trade, and cultural spheres, as well as cooperation within the frameworks of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The sides also noted Azerbaijan's active participation in the Manama Dialogue initiative and its role in addressing security issues. Additionally, the parties discussed a range of other topics of mutual interest.
