Azerbaijan announces priorities for GUAM chairmanship

Kyiv hosted the 52nd meeting of the GUAM Council of National Coordinators on February 27-28, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.

The priorities for Azerbaijan’s presidency of GUAM in 2020 were announced at the meeting. The Council also approved the Action Plan for the current year.

The coordinators discussed the issues of political, interparliamentary and sectoral cooperation, as well as the mutual relations within the ‘GUAM+’ format, especially with the US and Japan.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev represented Azerbaijan at the event.
