Assistant to Azerbaijani President: Program of weaponization of Armenia by France counter-productive

The weaponization of Armenia, encouragement of revanchist sentiments in this country, particularly by France, are counter-productive, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, said in an interview with the TRT World.

According to Report, the official was answering the question about France's supply of military equipment to Yerevan against the trust-building measures within the framework of the Azerbaijani-Armenian normalization.

He said it is difficult to understand what the end goals of the Frech government in the region of the South Caucasus.

"Other countries should not export their geopolitical intrigues and their own internal political agendas to the region of the South Caucasus," Hajiyev said.
