Another US mayor congratulates Azerbaijanis

Mayor of Hallandale Beach, Florida Joy Cooper signed a declaration on October 18 - Azerbaijan's Independence Day, Report informs.

The mayor presented the document to Tohfa Eminova, chairman of the Azerbaijani-American Cultural Association in Florida.

Joy Cooper congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.

Calling herself a friend of Azerbaijan, the mayor wished success to the members of the Azerbaijani-American Cultural Association, established on October 26, 2006.

Meeting with the active members of the Azerbaijani community, the mayor said she was proud that the city of Hallandale Beach hosted them.
