Ambassador: We hope to hold meeting of Azerbaijan-Israel intergovernmental commission by year end

Baku. 6 April. REPORT.AZ/ We hope, the first meeting of Azerbaijan-Israel intergovernmental commission will be held by end of 2017.

Report informs, Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Dan Stav said at a briefing.

He recalled that during the last visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Baku, was signed a memorandum on holding of the intergovernmental commission’s meeting.

The ambassador recalled that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is co-chair of the intergovernmental commission from Azerbaijan, and Minister of Ecology Zeev Elkin from the Israeli side.

The ambassador added that exact time and place of the intergovernmental commission’s meeting will be determined in the course of diplomatic consultations.
