Tajikistan ambassador to Azerbaijan, Soli Rustam, told reporters at a briefing, Report informs.

According to the Ambassador, this is due to the fact that the fight against terrorism is a key issue of regional security.: "Our countries have a great potential and positive dynamics of bilateral relations in all spheres. Combating terrorism, agrarian sector and tourism are among priorities."

He noted that the Government of Tajikistan organized a High-level International Conference on Preventing Terrorism and Countering Violent Extremism on May 3-4 within the framework of cooperation with the UN, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and with the support of Qatar.
