ADA Rector says international efforts to normalize relations between Baku and Yerevan 'highly appreciated'

The efforts of the international community, including the European Union, to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia are highly appreciated, ADA University Rector Hafiz Pashayev said while answering the questions of the participants of the 4th International Conference on “Shaping the Geopolitics of the Greater Eurasia: from Past to Present to Future,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev.

He added that Baku and Yerevan are making attempts to normalize relations, and the efforts of the international community in this direction are also welcomed: "The day before, trilateral talks were held in Washington, and today a regular high-level dialogue meeting will be held in Brussels, where these questions will be on the agenda along with the energy dialogue.

Commenting on the situation in Ukraine, Pashayev said that Azerbaijan's position is clear and understandable: "Azerbaijan always prioritizes the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries, including Ukraine."
