56% of the respondents in Georgia assessed the country's current relations with Azerbaijan as good.
Local bureau of Report informs that it was revealed during the public opinion poll conducted by the International Bureau of Investigation in Georgia.
17% of respondents consider these relations neither bad nor good, 20% assessed as bad, while 7% did not answer the question.
The vast majority of the survey respondents assessed Georgia's relations with Ukraine (90%), the United States (87%) and the European Union (87%) well.
Respondents also answered the question on Georgia's most important political and economic partner. 9% of the population called Azerbaijan an important political partner, while 13% an important economic partner. 6% of the respondents considered Azerbaijan dangerous from political standpoint , while 4% assessed the country dangerous from economic point of view.
According to the Georgian population, the United States (50%), the EU (47%) and Ukraine (29%) are the country's most important political partners. US won 33% of votes as an economic partner, while EU won 39 % and Ukraine got 17%.
The survey was conducted between May 20 till June 11, 2012 among over 1,500 citizens across Georgia.
