2018 budget of OSCE MG and Kasprzyk's office unveiled

Baku. 19 February. REPORT.AZ/ This year the OSCE will allocate 911,200 euros for the activities of the Minsk Group dealing with the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Report informs, the administrative budget of the special representative of OSCE Chairperson in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk will be 1 241 300 euros.

In comparison, last year the budget of the OSCE Minsk Group also amounted to 911,200 euros, while budget of Kasprzyk's office was 1 235 800 euros.

Notably, on February 15, the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna approved the organization's budget for 2018. Total budget of the organization for period from 1 January to 31 December is 137,801,200 euros.

The OSCE Permanent Council is one of the main regular decision-making bodies of the OSCE, which includes representatives of all 57 member states of the organization. Decisions are made by consensus.

The OSCE is funded through contributions from 57 member countries.
