178 Azerbaijani nationals stranded in Georgia were sent home from Tbilisi by three buses.
Local Bureau of Report says the test results taken from the evacuees on coronavirus came back negative.
Citizens will be transported to the "Red Bridge" border checkpoint on the border with Azerbaijan. They will have a one-day free movement permit to reach their residence under a special quarantine regime.
As coronavirus pandemic rages across the world, Azerbaijanis, who live or study abroad, gradually return to Homeland. So far, Azerbaijan has brought back more than 300 nationals through Georgia. The government also established a portal "I am going home" for our citizens wishing to return to Azerbaijan from Russia.
