World Cup-2018: Armenian taxi drivers robbing BBC commentator arrested

Baku. 10 July. REPORT.AZ/ The taxi drivers who robbed the BBC football commentator in the Russian capital, Moscow, have been revealed to be Armenians.

Report informs, they are Arabis Badalyan and Lendrush Sadrakyan. Both were sentenced to 2 months of imprisonment. By the verdict of Tagansky district court, they were sentenced until September 7.

The taxi drivers gave the UK citizen, who came to cover World Cup,  drug called caffeine when he was sitting in the car. Then the commentator lost his temper. When he regained consciousness, he was aware that his cash, mobile phone and bank cards had been stolen. The suspects extracted the money through bank cards.

A criminal case has been filed. Taxi drivers have pleaded guilty.
