Baku. 30 October. REPORT.AZ/ Vice-President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Andreu Subies was arrested by the Civil guard, Report informs citing TASS.
According to local media, members of the organization arrested the Vice President, as well as other suspects in the anti-corruption investigation.
The detention occurred as a result of search held in the office of Catalonia Football Federation of Catalonia, which he previously headed.
The investigation claims that former RFEF President Ángel María Villar illegally financed the regional federation that they would assist him in the election, and Subias was among them.
