UEFA President: "Azerbaijan has a chance to reach European cup final"

Baku. 30 September. REPORT.AZ/ "These events contribute to the development of football. Euro-2020 matches will be held in Baku. It would be great if Azerbaijan wins ticket to the final stage. Report informs, the new UEFA  President, Aleksander Ceferin said at a briefing for reporters.

He said he liked the logo prepared for EURO 2020: " An idea behind the logo unites the nations."

A. Ceferin also expressed his views on football infrastructure of Baku: "Less than 24 hours i am in Baku. I have seen the Olympic Stadium from outside. It is a very beautiful stadium. Yesterday i watched, "Gabala" - "Mainz" match. The arena is also beautiful."

UEFA President also spoke about the possibility of the European Cup final match to be held in Baku.

He said for this purpose local association must make an appeal: The best proposals will be accepted. This issue has been widely discussed by UEFA. I think Azerbaijan also has a chance."
