UEFA not to require detailed plans due to coronavirus

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) no longer requires from national federations full information on the resumption of championships and the start dates of the 2020/21 season by May 25, Report says citing Sport-Ekspress.

Although the UEFA Executive Committee will make some critical decisions on May 27, the management understands that there may not be detailed plans by that time due to various restrictions regarding the current situation.

Meanwhile, local associations must notify the Association of European Professional Football Leagues and UEFA about the fate of tournaments by May 25, given the current and possible threat, if the situation is unfavorable. This is the date required by the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee.
