Azerbaijani hegemony in Europa League

UEFA has announced the ranking of players' performance in the Europa League and domestic competitions.

According to Report, the new list, compiled after the 1/8 finals, also includes footballers connected with Azerbaijan.

The best result belongs to Dani Quintana, who left Qarabag in January. The Spanish midfielder with 557 points is ranked 278th. His compatriot Michel Madera follows him with 407 points. He, who said goodbye to the Aghdam club at the end of the 2019/2020 season, ranked 361st. The last owner of the best "3rd" is also a former Qarabag player. Brazilian legionnaire Ailton Silva with 356 points, is ranked 409th. 

Richard Almeida, transferred from Qarabag to the Baniyas of the United Arab Emirates, has the best result. The Brazilian nationalized midfielder is ranked 474th with 290 points. The defender of the Ukrainian Alexandria, Pavel Pashayev took second place among the national team members - 167 points, 707th place. Azerbaijani national team player and Qarabag captain Maxim Medvedev is 825th with 116 points.

Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes (4459 points) and Anthony Martial (4344) are in the top two in terms of performance. Sevilla midfielder Jesus Navas is third with 4249 points.
