Spain’s Getafe club president Angel Torres has revealed UEFA competition is set to return in August, according to foreign media.
He suggested that they play their Europa League last 16 matches against Inter in the first week of August.
“The first leg in Italy should be on August 2 or 3, while the return leg in Spain should be played on August 6 or 7,” Torres explained in an interview with Spanish radio station today.
“In case it is not possible to play at San Siro and the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, the matches should be played on a neutral pitch.”
The matches, which were due to take place on March 12 and March 19, were postponed amid coronavirus crisis.
