UEFA discloses decision on Qarabag player Pedro Henrique

Baku. 17 November. REPORT.AZ/ UEFA Discipline Committee suspended Azerbaijan's Qarabag FC player Pedro Henrique for two games.

UEFA Media & Public Relations department told Report that such decision was made because Brazilian player received direct red card on the away match with Atletico in the fourth set of Champions League group stage. In accordance with Article 15 of UEFA Discipline regulations, 27-year-old midfielder has been disqualified from rest of the matches in the group stage. It means that Brazilian footballer will not play for Qarabag on the match with Chelsea on November 22 and miss away match with Roma on December 5.

Pedro Henrique received direct red card in the 59th minute of the away match with Atletico for kicking in the face of Diego Godin. Atletico player Stefan Savic also received red card on the match that ended in a draw 1:1. He was sent off after receiving the second yellow card in the 88th minute of the match. Brazilian player beat the first goal for Qarabag on the match with Roma in the Champions League group stage on September 27. 

Azerbaijani club lost that match with a score of 1:2.
