    Turkish fans beaten in Ukraine

    Baku. 16 September. REPORT.AZ/ Fans of Turkish Fenerbahçe FC were beaten before the match with Ukraine's Zorya FC at the group stage of Europa League.

    Report informs, the incident occurred in Odessa.

    A number of masked men entered the restaurant with Turkish fans. They wanted to pour gasoline on a fan and burn. But faulty lighter prevented tragedy. However, visiting fans were beaten and got severe injuries and hospitalized.

    Clashes also occurred in other regions of Ukraine, which the Turkish fans visited. After the incident, police detained 3 local fans.

    Notably, Zorya - Fenerbahçe match ended 1:1.
