Turkish club now will play in Amateur League

Baku. 5 March. REPORT.AZ/ Kayseri Erciyesspor that played in the Turkish Super League last season, will compete in the Turkish Regional Amateur League next season.

Report informs, it was determined after Kayseri team defeated by Diyarbakırspor 1:10 in the 2nd group of Turkey III League.

Kayseri Erceyisspor players could not hold back tears after such a defeat.

Notably, Kayseri Erciyesspor founded in 1932, has last time played in Turkey's Super League in 2015. The team has reached the final of the Turkish Cup in the 2006-2007 season within 86 years of history. 

For the first time in the history of Kayseri that lost to Besiktas in the last minutes of the match reached European Cup. The team that qualified for the UEFA Cup for the first time in the 2007-2008 season won Israeli Makkabi (Tel Aviv) in the first qualifying stage. 

At the second stage, Kayseri Erciyesspor lost to Spanish Atletico and stopped competing.
