Footballer of Azerbaijani national team signs contract with Latvian club

Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ Footballer of Sumgayit’s reserve team Tural Bayramli has been transferred to Latvian club Daugavpils.

Report informs citing the manager of 21-year-old midfielder Erkin Ibrahimov that Bayramli, who also plays for U-21 Azerbaijani national team, has signed 6-month + 1-year contract  with Latvian team. According to the agreement, the player can leave Daugavpils during summer transfer.

Ibrahimov announced that Daugavpils will also sign a contract with other member of Sumgayit Nazim Bagirov in the coming days.

Notably, Daugavpils is at the Latvian I Division. After 22 rounds, the team ranks first in the tournament table. The club is the main candidate for the Latvian Higher League.
