Sporting’s debutant: I will never forget match against Qarabag

Baku. 30 November. REPORT.AZ/ "The match was not easy for us. We showed a collective game in this match. The rival also scored against us, however we revealed our character and achieved the desired result. This result was very important for our team," said 19-year-old footballer Thierry Correia, who debuted within Portuguese Sporting after the V tour match of Europa League group stage,  in which they beat Qarabag with a 6:1 score in Baku. Report informs that the young player said he would never forget his debut game: "When I played for the first time in the stadium, I was very excited. I'm grateful to head coach Marcel Keizer who gave me a chance to play. This game was very important for me. I will not never forget the match against Qarabag and the victory that we gained in this match."

Notably, Bruno Gaspar was replaced by Thierry Correia in the 74th minute of the match against Qarabag.
