Spain’s La Liga championship offered to play in Canary Islands

Association of hoteliers of the Spanish city of Tenerife invited the Federation of football of Spain and the leadership of La Liga to finish the championship in the Canary Islands.

The Association representatives suggested that this option, based on the fact that the Islands are isolated from mainland Spain, Report says citing Marca. 

The Canary Islands-based clubs “Las Palmas” and “Tenerife” are acting in Segunda. Besides, the Islands are traditionally popular tourist built many hotels, and therefore, it is possible to accommodate the staff of the 42 clubs in La Liga and Segunda.
